Although almost every dog prefers to sit on your lap or next to you on the couch all day, a few breeds really stand out. These dogs love nothing more than lying against you all day long and if it is up to them, they will jump into bed with you at night. They have absolutely no sense of personal space but that is exactly why we like them so much!
1. Golden Retriever
Once you go golden, you never go back. Nor can you since this four-legged friend is probably so close that you can't get up. Not that we mind because a finer coat to cuddle with hardly exists. Fortunately, the Golden Retriever loves to be petted as much as we want to pet him. This family dog is perfect for cuddling, both young and old!
2. Labrador
This friendly rascal is just asking to be petted. They jump right up on the couch with you. Labradors are extremely devoted to their owner (and food). They prefer to be with you all day which is why they are often used as service dogs. With a Labrador in the family you are never short of cuddles!
3. Jack Russel
They have their size of course but still they stand out. Jack Russels are cuddly creatures. They often like everyone and sometimes lie on strangers' laps. As soon as you take a step towards the couch, this four-legged friend is already sitting on your lap, and let's face it, do we mind?
4. Pitbull
Although not considered a cuddly dog by everyone, the Pitbull gets nothing more than kisses and hugs all day long. In the right hands they are only too happy to show how loving they can be by lying as close as possible. If they are tired enough they will plop down next to you on the couch and sometimes they can't be dragged out of bed in the morning.
5. Great Dane
Although they definitely do not have their size with them, the cuddliness of this giant is very high. They are very relaxed and prefer to lay on the couch next to their favorite person. Make sure your couch is big enough and you will have a friend for life!
