10 reasons why we sometimes want to be a dog

Let's face it: have you ever thought about what it would be like to be a dog?
A quadruped's life has its advantages - and sometimes it even seems better than ours!
Here are 10 reasons why we sometimes wish we were a dog.

1. They can sleep anywhere

A nap in the sun, on the couch or in the middle of the floor - dogs just do it, without shame. And honestly: that sounds pretty wonderful.

2. No stress about money or work

Tax returns? Deadlines? Dogs don't know it. Their biggest concern is when the next walk will take place.

3. Always fashionable without effort

A shiny coat and a happy look are all they need. No trends or clothing stress - pure nature.

4. Living in the moment

Dogs don't fret about yesterday or tomorrow. They are masters of enjoying the now - a trait we could learn quite a bit from.

5. Peeing in public without shame

Where and when they have to - a tree, a pole, it doesn't matter. No queues or awkward moments, just practical.

6. Always honest about who they like or don't like

A dog does not need to hide his dislike. A growl or averted gaze says enough - no social mask needed.

7. Smart enough to be 'deaf'

"Come here!" Sometimes they really don't hear it ... or pretend to. Who doesn't want to be able to do that during a boring meeting?

8. Always flexible

Whether it's scratching behind the ear or sleeping in the strangest position - dogs get it.

9. Never worry about eating

Dogs don't have to worry about what's on the table tonight. Their owners always ensure a full bowl - whether at home or at their dog sitter.

10. Compliments for the smallest things

Sitting, lying down or pawing - everything earns applause and cookies. Appreciation is rarely that simple!

Whether we laugh at their carefree lives or secretly envy them, dogs remind us how nice it is to enjoy the little things. And that is perhaps the best reason to be a little more dog sometimes.
