What makes babysitting so valuable to him?
"Every dog is different," says Jan Willem. "Every dog has its own character. The best thing is to give happy, healthy, well-corrected dogs back to their owners."

"That's what Bikkel decides," he laughs. "I can handle them, but he decides. Only one dog have we ever turned down because Bikkel didn't see fit - so I didn't either."
What has he learned from babysitting?
"Every time I learn something new," Jan Willem says. "Dogs show you how important attention and consistency are."

"Always where they are allowed to run loose," he replies without hesitation. "That's where dogs can really be dogs."
