I have no work at the moment

Did you also have your own dog or dogs? If so what breed/crossbreed and what is his/her name?

Yes, I have 2 dogs Nikè of 9 her, and Nani of almost 4. Both ladies are from Greece

What are the nicest character traits of your own dog?

Especially Nikè is a sweet, calm stable dog who senses very well what other dogs need. She was a huge help when we were fostering ex lab beagles

What was/were your cutest babysitting dog(s)? and why?

Surely dwarf dachshund Jippie should be mentioned here, she really lives up to her name

Why did you start babysitting dogs through Petbnb?

After I found work again (temporarily) I unfortunately could no longer take care of ex lab beagles, which is why I signed up as a sitter with Petbnb. The money I "earn" now goes into a pot for fundraising in the fight against child marriage in Vietnam. I want to cycle 400 kilometers here next year, and then I need to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship money

How do you find out if there is a good match with the dog and the owner during an introduction?

I mainly watch how my dogs react to the future babysitting dog and how the interaction is.

What is the most memorable/special situation you have experienced so far while babysitting?

Taking our own dogs, and babysitting dog, for a New Year's walk on the beach at Monster along with about 60 other dogs. A big party

Did you also learn new things through babysitting?

You learn to interact with different type. Both people and dogs

Favorite dog walking spot & why?

Park at the back of the pool. Nice walk, and you can easily run different length laps there.

What tips & tricks would you pass along to other babysitters for good babysitting?

Take care of your babysitting dog as if it were your own
