\n Not every hero wears a cape - some just walk with a belt in hand. Meet Domien Zahradnik<\/strong> (59),
\n former sports instructor in the Marine Corps and currently a dedicated dog sitter via Petbnb<\/strong>. His peace,

From marines to dog lover<\/h2>\n

\n After his functional age retirement from the Marine Corps, Domien decided to devote his energy and experience to dogs.
\n \"I was a sports instructor in the Marines, so sports are part of me. In addition, I play music. And because I can't have my own dog now,

\n Domien once had a Tervueren shepherd<\/strong> named Fugazi. That experience made a deep impression: \"All dogs are nice, right

\n \"It hasn't happened yet that I didn't have a match. Dogs feel immediately that they can trust me.\"\n <\/p>\n

\n \"A stray dog from Sarajevo was so attached to me within 24 hours that I could take her anywhere without a leash.
\n She even got upset when I went to run errands. I didn't know a dog could bond so quickly.\"\n <\/p>\n

What he learned from babysitting<\/h2>\n

\n \"You learn every day, they are like people. If you're not learning anything, I don't think you're open to these animals.\"
\n Domien enjoys the contact and stresses that playing and talking with dogs is essential: \"Even a dog notices when you're busy
\n with your smartphone. Leave those in your pocket and give them attention - it strengthens your bond tremendously.\"\n <\/p>\n

\n \"A big field where I can play with the dog,\" he says without hesitation. \"That's where you build a real bond.\"\n <\/p>\n

Domien's tips for other babysitters<\/h2>\n

\n \"Don't force a match. If it doesn't click, another dog will come your way. Talk to dogs a lot, play regularly and
\n Be really present during the walk. That makes all the difference.\"\n <\/p>\n
