The adventure has begun and you've probably already discovered that there's nothing cuter than that little, fluffy wagging tail and those sweet mischievous eyes. But, with great cuteness comes great responsibility, and puppy training is just the beginning. In addition to formal puppy training, there are plenty of ways you can train your pup yourself and strengthen your bond. In this blog, we share fun and effective methods for training your pup yourself!\n  <\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color:#519b7a;\">1. Give attention to basic commands<\/h3>\n<p>During formal puppy training, learn basic commands such as sit, down and here. Continue this training at home by spending a few minutes daily repeating these commands. Give your puppy a reward each time he responds correctly. This not only strengthens his obedience, but also your bond. Let your pup shine socially<\/h3>\n<p>Your little fluff ball needs to get used to more than just his own reflection in order to grow into a mature dog without star power. So make socializing a party! Take your pup to busy parks where he can show off his new collar. Let him play with other dogs and don't forget to invite your new friends over for a puppy playdate, where you can enjoy puppy cakes together and try out all the tricks he's learned.
