1. Pay attention to common symptoms<\/h3>\n

Sneezing, itchy\/watery eyes, stuffy or runny nose, coughing, shortness of breath and skin rash\/itching. Complaints often disappear as soon as you no longer have contact with the animal.<\/p>\n

Schedule an appointment with (family) physician or allergist. Possible tests:<\/p>\n

Skin test:<\/strong> small amounts of allergen on skin; redness\/swelling indicates allergy.
